Duty of Candour Statement

At The Skin Investment Clinic, we adhere to the professional standards set by the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, particularly Regulation 20: Duty of Candour.

Our Duty of Candour Includes:

  • Being open and honest with clients when something goes wrong with their care or treatment
  • Informing the client (or their representative) as soon as reasonably practicable after an incident
  • Providing a truthful account of what happened, including details of any harm caused
  • Offering an appropriate apology
  • Keeping a written record of the conversation and actions taken
  • Carrying out investigations when needed and sharing findings transparently
