Seborrheic Warts
Seborrheic warts are dark, wart-like growths which appear on the skin. They are completely harmless, but can be considered unsightly. They are also known as Seborrheic Keratoses and Senile Warts.
What causes Seborrheic Warts?
The exact cause of Seborrheic Warts is unclear, but they seem to be linked to ageing, as they are more common in elderly people, hence the name Seborrheic Warts. Unlike warts caused by the wart virus, Seborrheic Warts are not contagious and do not spread.

You can get Seborrheic Warts anywhere on the body.
Who can get Seborrheic Warts?
Anyone can get Seborrheic Warts, however, older people are more likely to develop them. There is also thought to be a genetic link, as they tend to run in families.
